OnePlus emerged in the market as a flagship killer, and later on their focus shifted towards making great smartphones easily available in the market. The first OnePlus device came out in the market in the 2014’s, and the latest flagship device is set for release sometime in June this year. Over the past two years, OnePlus has earned a great number of trusted customers, and well-wishers.
OnePlus 2 16 GB is the entry level segment of OnePlus 2 in the Indian market, there’s a prominent difference in the configuration between the 16GB and 64GB version. However, this one comes with a Snapdragon 810 CPU 1.8 GHz Octa core, 3GB of RAM and 16GB internal storage with no expandable options. The LCD display is 5.5 inches, and if offers 1080×1920 pixels resolution; protected by a Gorilla Glass panel. The cameras are 13MP rear and 5MP front. It has two Nano-SIM card slots. The battery is 3300mAh non-removable.

The OnePlus X is focused towards the young generation with lesser budget and need for higher amount of power. The hardware configuration is much similar to OnePlus One on the OnePlus X. It comes with Snapdragon 801 CPU 2.3 GHz quad core, 3GB of RAM and 16GB internal storage space. The SIM card slot is hybrid, user can either use two SIM cards or one Nano-SIM and one microSD card up to 128GB space. The Indian 4G LTE bands are supported. It has 13MP rear and 8 MP front camera.

OnePlus 2 64GB variant comes with Snapdragon 810CPU 1.8GHz octa core, and 4GB of RAM. The internal storage space on this variant is 64GB, with no external memory option. The SIM card slot accommodates two SIM cards but it’s not a hybrid card slot. It has a fingerprint sensor embedded in the home button like the 16GB version, and it functions pretty fast and accurately. The battery is 3300 mAh which offers decent backup support throughout the day, and it is non-removable.

OnePlus One was the flagship killer for 2014, which really offered a good competition. It has Snapdragon 801 quad core 2.5 GHz CPU, 3GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage space with no expandable option. The display is 5.5 inches with 1080×1920 pixels resolution. The handset is pretty slim at only 8mm thickness, and it weighs just 162 grams.

The configuration between these two memory variants are identical. The OnePlus One comes with Snapdragon 801 CPU with 3GB of RAM and 16GB storage space. Cameras on this device are 13MP in rear with dual LED flash lights, and 5MP in front. The full HD display is protected by Gorilla Glass. OnePlus One has no FM radio, and no fingerprint sensor either.

OnePlus 3 hasn’t been announced yet, however the Android enthusiasts are expecting a release around June as per some rumors from reliable sources. The handset will have Snapdragon 820 2.15 GHz quad core CPU, 64GB/128GB internal storage variants of 64GB internal + expandable memory card slot options, 13MP rear camera with OIS and laser autofocus and 5MP front camera, 5.5 inches full HD display and 3500 mAh battery etc.
Price: Rs. 29,990 (estimated).

Apparently, a 2016 version of OnePlus X might also hit the shelves of the 2016 market in Q3. The configuration would be much similar to the OnePlus 2 like Snapdragon 810 CPU, 3GB/4GB RAM options and hybrid SIM card slot, fingerprint sensor for added security on-board, Android N operating system with on-board payment services etc.
Price: Rs. 20,999 (estimated).
The flagship killer title might not have remained throughout the entire segment of OnePlus devices, but despite that their devices are certainly great smartphones and also much reasonably priced for the money.
