Fernando Alonso Diaz is a Spanish F1 Racing Driver and double World Champion who is serving McLaren-Honda racing. Born in Oviedo, Asturias, Alonso started his career in karting when he was 3 years old. He won 3 karting championships consequently from 1994 to 1997 in Spain consequently and became the world champion in the year 1996. In 2001 season, he made his debut in Formula One with Minardi and shifted to team Renault next year as a test driver. In 2003, Alonso has become one of the leading drivers in his team. When he was 24 years old he won F1 World Driver’s championship. He became the youngest F1 World’s Drivers Champion.
He retained the title at the same year and titled as the youngest Double Champion. In 2007, he moved to McLaren before getting back to Renault in 2008 and 2009 seasons. He joined Scuderia Ferrari for 2010 season. He couldn’t manage to reach his target of third title. But he finished runner up at Ferrari on 2010, 2012 and 2013 seasons. He also won 11 Grands Prix with team and defeated his teammats for points. By 2014, he left Ferrari, 2 years before expiry of the contract.

To start Formula One race, Alonso was the 3rd youngest ever driver when he made entry to Australian Grand Prix with Minardi. In his first season, the team was being controlled by Paul Stoddart and their car PS01, which was neither reliable nor fast. But his qualifying performance was exceptional as he defeated Tarso Marques, his out-qualifying team mate, by 2.6 seconds. He out-qualified Benetton at Imola and he repeated a feat later.
He garnered some more attention from other teams with his remarkable performances. In September 2001, it was reported by the European media that Sauber were trying to replace Kimi Raikkonen with Alonso.
