After representing his college for just one year, Durant was selected for the NBA Draft 2007. In June 2007, the Seattle Supersonics selected him as the second overall in the first round. During the same time, Durant received an offer for whopping $60 million for which he signed 7-year contract with Nike. It was a major endorsement deal for him. It was exceeded only by Nike contract of LeBron James.
