Digital India is a bid to empower the government has become successful. India is not just digital, female and male empowerment has also taken a progress. In Noida, the ‘Stand Up India Event’ first e-rickshaws, the Prime Minister inaugurated by booking the first e-rikshaw through Ola App.
Talking of India’s transportation system, still to reach many corners people have to make huge payments. Because of the poor transport service, this does not add to the household. On Tuesday, PM Modi handed over the Ola 151 e-rickshaws keys to women drivers and along with it 5100 e-rickshaws will be given to drivers so that they provide services to Delhi, Ghaziabad, Noida and Gurgaon.
Like you book OLA cabs through OLA app now you can also book e-rickshaw through OLA app sitting at home. The service base fare will be Rs 8.
Total 5100 e-rickshaws in Delhi, 1000 e-rickshaw will run Noida and 1000 in Gurgaon and 2000 in Ghaziabad.
The event is produced in partnership with Ola and Bhartiya Micro Credit. Employment as well as BMC and Ola soon open skill development centers in Noida will train the thousands of rickshaw pullers. In a few months the population of BMC e-rickshaws charging center will be opened, so the pace of e-rickshaws never stop.
Soon all that will come into service in small cities, these drivers will have the smart phone to connect with customers.
