Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) Winners List of All Season 1,2,3

Despite the fact that Indians are fond of cricket, there are several sports like football and kabaddi seen an upsurge of popularity. The Professional Kabaddi League or PKL is organized in India and is influenced by the most popular IPL cricket league and applaud by most cricket fans in India. The Pro Kabaddi has 8 teams from various cities in India that have been participating in it.

The first season of Kabaddi Premier League was played in the year 2014. Currently, the PKL is managed by Mashal Sports, a joint venture of Charu Sharma and Anand Mahindra & Mahindra Groups. Most of the stakes are held by Star India and Star Sports holds the official broadcasting rights of Kabaddi Games played in this tournament. The first season of Kabaddi League was started in July 26 to August 31. In this tournament, total 8 teams participated and played 60 matches in total that are split in sequence. The league included 56 double round matches, third place game, two semi finals, and final Kabaddi match. All teams played against one another and Jaipur Pink Panthers and U Mumba made their way to reach finale. In the first season of Star Sports Pro Kabaddi, U Mumba lost the match to Jaipur Pink Panther by 35-24. Jaipur Pink Panther was the Indian Kabaddi Team which won the prize money of Rs. 50 Lakhs and PKL Season 1 title.

After first season, Star Sports brought to you yet another season of Pro Kabaddi League and the prize money just got doubled for the winning Kabaddi Team. The tournament started on July 18, 2015 and continued till 23th August, 2015. Just like first season, total 8 teams played in season 2 and 60 matches were played. The Season 2 of Pro Kabaddi League was held in Mumbai. U Mumba and Bangaluru Bulls were the top finalists. This time, U Mumba was the winner by 6 points against Bangaluru Bulls.
