Sebastian Vettel is a German racing driver for Scuderia Ferrari in Formula One. He won championship in 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013 and became Formula One World Champion with Red Bull Racing. He is one of the most successful Formula One drivers and one of just 4 drivers who have won more than 4 drivers’ titles. He remained Formula One driver and contracted with Scuderia Ferrari until the end of 2017. In his driving for the first year for Red Bull in the year 2009, Vettel has finished the season as the youngest runner-up in World Drivers’ Championship. He became the youngest driver in the following year to win World Drivers’ Championship when he was 23.

Professional Life

At 2006 Turkish Grand Prix, Vettel became third driver for BMW Sauber and he recorded the fastest lap in Friday Free Practice before starting the race on his testing debut. He exceeded the pitlane speed limit to the track and collected his first fine. He was also the youngest F1 driver who participated in Grand Prix weekend at the age of 19 years. In Italian Grand Prix 2006 in his second testing session, he recorded race weekend where all BMW cars were fastest, along with the fastest lap in both sessions of Friday practice.

Sebastian Vettel was born on July 3, 1987 in Heppenheim, previously West Germany, to Heike and Norbert Vettel. He has two elder sisters – Stefanie, a physiotherapist who treats disabled children, and Melanie, a dental technician, and a younger brother Fabian. The three Michaels were his childhood heroes – Michael Jackson, Michael Jordan and Michael Schumacher. He was inspired with the singing of Michael Jackson but couldn’t become a singer because of his voice. He describes himself as private, competitive and impatient. He was in a relationship with his childhood friend, Hanna Prater. Vettel became father in January 2014 for the first time with a daughter. He became father again in September 2015 with his second daughter.
